We are now open for 2024 and look forward to welcoming our guests back. This will be our last year of running the B&B and we are looking forward to a great summer in 2024.
Originally a stone thatched barn, Medlars was converted to living accommodation in the 1950s and is now a comfortable bed and breakfast with plenty of character and high standard of accommodation.
Located in a tranquil area of the West Wight and less than a mile from Yarmouth town centre (15 min walk) with its numerous restaurants and pubs, it is just off the coast path and cycle route making it a great base for exploring the stunning Isle of Wight. You can enjoy watching a range of wildlife whilst walking around the River Yar, along Tennyson Down and along the coastline.
We are able to lock your bikes away at night in our garage. Also bikes can be hired in Yarmouth (www.wightcyclehire.co.uk) and guided bird walks can be booked in advance at natural.links@outlook.com. Sadly we do not take dogs.
We often see a red squirrel or two in the garden. Great for photo opportunities!
